Steven's Story...

Steven Maier, the company's founder, at the age of 15 decided he wanted to be his own boss. One of Steven's favorite snacks as a kid was popcorn. After consuming the numerous versions out there, he realized nothing compared to what his dad made at home - especially his kettle corn. After graduating with a degree in Business Finance from UCF (Go Knights!) and working several years in the IMSA racing series, it was time for him to start working for himself. Steven approached his parents for a small loan, and they agreed. And that's how Maier's Gourmet Popcorn came to life!

We are excited to announce that we are the official popcorn of the ERA Motorsport's LMP 2 car in IMSA. I want to thank Dwight Merriman and Kyle Tilley for giving us the opportunity to have Maier's Gourmet Popcorn on the ERA LMP2.

Popcorn can grow to be 30 times its original size when it pops!
An Average American eats almost 70 quarts of popcorn every year, and Americans consume approximately 17.3 billion quarts of popcorn annually! This amount would fill the Empire State Building 18 times. That's a lot of popcorn!
Popcorn is made up of both yellow and white kernels but only about 1 in 10 kernels are white.
